From Geek to Chic: J. Crew, I love you!
I’ve become totally obsessed with J.Crew. I probably own every merino wool cardigan that they have made over the last two years. I should probably mention that until I discovered J.Crew, I exclusively wore black t-shirts from my former job and sneakers. Being interested in collecting clothes is entirely new to me, and I’ve recently discovered something totally cool: buying and selling J.Crew clothes online.
Obviously, eBay, is completely full of people selling J.Crew and is definitely my first stop for what I can’t find the in retail store.
However, I’ve discovered a bunch of really epic blogs all dedicated to J.Crew. My favorite so far is J.Crew Aficionada which even has weekly trading threads for people looking for particular items. Sweet! The best thing though, is finding websites like Polyvore, which show peoples outfits and how they mix and match clothes. Which makes my clothes closet feel much bigger!
