Hi! I’m Amy-Elizabeth, the nerd that you see in the photo above. Since you’re here, reading the “about” section, I guess my blog didn’t scare you off. Good times. I like you already.
My favorite color is black, I love my iPhone, web development, Apple computers, comic books, reading, hanging out with my awesome friends and my boyfriend Mark. We make fun of each other on Twitter and it’s pretty excellent.
I teach tenth grade world history and enjoy my job immensely. My students are bright, funny and clever. I’ve wanted to teach high school (particularly tenth grade World History) since I was sixteen and taking World History. Weird, I know. Teaching is the best and most rewarding job in the world – I feel sorry for people who are not teachers. You’re totally missing out!
I’ve recently started doing Ashtanga yoga, knitting and trying to read every urban fantasy novel in my library system.
